Is it illegal to drive in car park uninsured

    If one is practicing to drive, and has a provisional licence, and the owner of the car who's insured with their full licence, is it illegal to drive in a public car park ?

    The key word is public, you must be insured to drive in any public place.

    Definition of Public Place,


    “‘public place’ means—

    (a) any public road, and

    (b) any street, road or other place to which the public have access with vehicles whether as of right or by permission and whether subject to or free of charge;”;
