    Too predictable.

But keep believing your own drivel Dempsey, maybe you have some catching up to do due to your ban but in your absence the European Club Association has found it necessary to piss all over this Newco crap, by clearly stating it's still the same club.

But then again, everybody knows that, even those who keep denying it out of spite.

Why would Charles Green, Jim Traynor, Alex Fergson etc harbour any spite for the mighty Glasgow Rangers?

My own drivel? I pointed out what a former player said

Why should anyone give a fiddlers what the ECA think on this issue given that Rangers were a founding member. A back scratching club doing some back scratching! /slow clap

    Once again, so predictable.

No, you're right, it's only the sole body representing the interests of clubs on a European level, who really cares about that anyway.

"Consequently it was concluded that Rangers FC was entitled to associated membership of ECA as considered to be a founding member."

The ECA is G14 but decided by UEFA coefficients, ye shouldnt be even considered but ye are because ye are a founding member and they said that officially. Ye are still an associate member purely on the basis that ye were a founding member. They wouldnt dream of doing other favours for ye?

Tis amazing that what the ECA has to say has such importance now! I remember you banging on about the minutes of their meetings all the time, oh wait!! More straw clutching, surprised you havent trotted out a link to the SFL website. Still cant explain away Charles Greens comments, Fergusons comments either.

What about FIFA's comments, you were amazingly silent about that today but then again you probably hadnt gotten all the sand out of your ears from last night!

So wait, we're a new club but also a founding member of the G14, which was disbanded 4 years ago ?

    As for that FIFA link:

    http://www.fifa.com/worldfootball/clubfootball/news/newsid=1710065.html

Seems to me like they don't really know it themselves.
Unless of course all those article are written by people with differing opinions.

But no, it must be FIFA's official stance, right ?

Are FIFA denying it out of spite?

Half time 0-0 All credit to QP playing a containing game and playing it well

This is embarrassing, McCulloch should apologise to the keeper for this piece of diving and acting afterwards

Aye cause Celtic players never do that. I expect as you are so concerned about diving you will be posting when a tic player does it.

I will agree it is embarrassing but please less of the moral high ground

1-0 Rangers Aird with a cracking finish.
To be honest if it stays like this we really don't deserve it QP have played well and their keeper has been outstanding.

Finished not good but will take the three points

I didnt say ye are a founding member of G14. Maybe you should do abit of googling if you dont know what I'm talking about instead of deliberately trying to twist people's words to take the conversation offtopic. Another deflection tactic

ye are because ye are a founding member

    Come again ?
So if you didn't say we're a founding member of the G14 then you obviously mean we're a founding member of the ECA.
Which was started 4 years ago.

I'm not 'twisting anything', you clearly said something which you're now trying to back out of.

As for the game: Not the best performance, but it doesn't get much better than a last minute winner :)

You really haven't got a clue.

Did you read that quote ?
That's from you, and there's no other way to read it than you saying that Rangers are a founding member, be it of the G14 or ECA.

So it's very good that you've finally come to your senses and admit it's still the same club, ther's no shame in that.

blah: Well, it was part of the conversation, I had to go wash up afterwards though :p

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 20,529 ✭✭✭✭Dempsey

Yes Rangers are a founding member of the ECA. Yes, they pulled strokes for Sevco purely because Rangers were a founding member. They stated this in a press release. You can play semantics with my posts all you like, it wont change what has happened.

Really do you expect anyone who knows this ****e online crap from a guy who admits he is a rabid tic fan who hates Rangers with a vengeance or the guy who "broke" the story Mr Phil three names to take it seriously. At least come away with an unbiased view.
Also this will be the guy Sandaza who ran onto Hampden Park yesterday and made the sign of the cross

    :o

Yeah I refuse to believe stories that paint Rangers in a bad light are true until they are reported by the mainstream Scottish media.

    lol

No I refuse to believe them when they come from two proven bigots. Whereas you seem happy enough to accept anyone saying these things

    lol

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,666 ✭✭✭blahfckingblah

aye there's a lot in that article about proven bigots too

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,704 ✭✭✭Broxi_Bear_Eire

Yeah from proven bigot himself so excuse me if I don't pay it much heed

Aha the old call everyone under the sun a bigot to try and deflect from your own club's institutionalised bigotry. Hows that working out for ya?

No I don't call everyone under the sun a bigot but those two are proven bigots. I find it amazing that you assume so much but no nothing about me really other than the team I support. I have experienced Phil three names bigotry first hand and the siple fact that the other muppet has admitted his hatred for my club. Why should I accept anything they see. We have photographs of Sandaza making the sign of the cross posted in this thread, but that is still not good enough I find myself wondering who the bigots are

Really is that it OK I could start putting up youtube video's of tic fans belting out RA songs with various unsavoury lyrics. Tell me what does it prove I mean for example one of you lot who was arrested the other night has been done for singing proscribed songs.
If you are going to start this nonsense you will be talking to yourself

Oh, you've replied by talking about Celtic. What a surprise

There's already videos of Celtic fans singing IRA songs. You seem to think that is the equivalent to singing about wading through the blood of Catholics. Which "RA songs" have you heard that gloat about wading through the blood of Protestants or the British?
