We'll need to hold back in the 2nd half, or we'll never be able to pay the goal bonuses.

    Dammit Clark, how could you.

And with a header too :(

My Ibrox Mole tells me that Warburton was livid after the game about this, almost throwing his magic hat into the bin in a fit of pique.

Seemingly one of the ex-Celtic players has come out with this gem:

    Always rated Sutton ;)

Again that's interesting(ish) but utterly irrelevant.

Anything to stop you from actually discussing the topic.

He's clearly a very clever man, but it is still a grind reading that, and there's 2 more parts!

Nice to read an impartial take on the whole thing, hope the next 2 parts are accessible for the ill-informed/lazy reader like myself.

Still a long read, but since you asked :)

Do you think this changes anything? Is this guy's opinion more valid than the law?

It sounds like you guys will stroll the appeal. When is the deadline for the appeal?

He goes into great detail, and admits himself, the way he looks at it could be disagreed with, but it does explain the process quite well. If only he could dumb it down another 50%!!

Don't think anyone said his opinion counts for more than the law he has said himself it doesn't. But it's funny how twice the judgement went for us and we had thousands of lawyers from the tic university of law happy to ignore it.
It is what it is one guys explanation of it as he sees it.

Oh we won't be appealing. That will be up to BDO and the Murray group I believe

    'The Law Is An Ass'
    'The Law Is An Ass'
'The Law Is 100% Correct, You Cannot Argue With It'

I don't know why you're bothering lads, anything that offers an opinion or an idea out with that being currently bounced on by Bobby 'n' Pals will be not only dismissed as irrelevant but treated with scorn and derision for having the sheer cheek to disagree with the law of the land.
Of course the irony is entirely lost on them, given their incessant continuation of the 'conversation' with nothing more than opinion, or their belief in 'dissident journalism' over the last few years.

I'll stick to the on field stuff around here.

It's funny how you guys will discuss these irrelevant pieces yet refuse to discuss the relevant ones.

So the view of a lone Barrister is worth more than the judgement made against your previous club? I'm not trying to stop the debate (unlike you), I'm pointing out that what's been posted is irrelevant when taken in the context of the recent judgement... so let's discuss it.

Come on, we're adults here and should be able to debate this stuff.

Since there has been so many posts regarding the off field finances, tax affairs and board room machinations at Rangers Football Club, as well as discussion of the merit of sporting sanctions or otherwise, it seems only fair to the many posters interested in such matters to give it a thread all of its own. From now on all discussion of any of these subjects will be for the newly created thread only. Other matters may arise which will also be for this thread, OP will be updated accordingly.

And here it is, the brand new thread:

    http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?p=97669232#post97669232

This thread has been renamed accordingly. Posts will be moved/deleted as necessary from now on.

Cheers, at least I know which thread not enter then :D

So Miller has signed a contract extension for a year.

I hope we can actually afford this :(

Think it's a good deal, he can still score the odd goal and the young players can learn a lot from him.

He is already assisting Durrant with the under 20's. From what I can gather he is not on big money so we might be ok ;)

Livingston away today be a hard one especially if they are as thuggish as the last time.

RANGERS: Foderingham, Tavernier, Ball, Kiernan, Wallace, Zelalem, Halliday, Holt, Oduwa, McKay, Waghorn

SUBS: Kelly, Wilson, Shiels, Miller, Clark, Thompson, Aird

Rangers go in at half time 1-0 up Holt in the 21st minute with a left foot shot from the center of the box. Been a fairly good game with both sides trying to play a bit of football though in the last 15 minutes or so of the half some naughty tackles were starting to go in from the home side

Livingston back in it with a shot that takes a slight deflection but sloppy defending again from Rangers

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,839 ✭✭✭Jelle1880

Defending still seems to be a problem, the high spirits from the start of the season seem to have gone...

1-1 FT and Hibs now level with us.

Things need to change, if we thought the last game against Hibs was a big one wait until the 28th...

Eustace won't be signing, reportedly he has an illness in the family and has chosen to focus on that.

Zelalem is looking at extending his loan deal.

Rangers will be implementing a living wage for all staff.

Nice job, well overdue but understandable due to the mess off the pitch that it took so long.

While I applaud the implementation of the living wage I feel this news belongs in the off field thread.

Rangers v St Mirren in the Semi final of the Petrofac Training cup today. Hopefully shake off the lackluster performances of late.

    Team news:

I haven't been in there, are you telling me there was nobody to comment about the AGM in it ?

    Disappointing.
