    Hey

I'm a total novice at the whole running/fitness thing in general and am just looking for some advice. Basically, I have been doing the couch to 5k programme, really enjoying it! I should have finished week 4 yesterday, but I have been unwell the last few days and didn't get my run done. Should I be ok to pick up where I left off tomorrow or Tuesday, or should I start Week 4 again do you reckon?

Just not sure what the protocol is when you miss a day? Would my (feeble) level of fitness regress during the few days off?

    Thanks!

As far as I know about C25K, is that a lot of people generally end up repeating week 4 (or 5? I think it's 4?) a few times due to it's level of difficulty in comparison to the previous weeks.

So i'd say just keep repeating it until you're confident you can progress.

Thanks for ur reply, will see how I go! Hopefully I won't notice too much of a difference in my fitness (if I can even call it that yet!) :p

i finished the course there a few weeks ago, and had a weeks holiday in the middle where i didn't run. i finished a week just before i left, so when i came back i repeated the last run of the week i had completed again and then moved on.

given you were ill, you could be a bit weaker, so maybe run the last run you did again a couple of times just to get back into it and then move on again? you'll have a good idea how your body is after you do the first run anyway, if you really struggle you know you need to build up a bit again first before moving on

1 week shouldn't have had too bad an effect on you though so good luck!!
