i have just finished week 6 day 1 of c25k and am really enjoying it. i always said i could never run for fun but am now after changing my mind. i am 6ft 4" 18 stone ex rugby player and am reasonably fit but want to lose my belly. i plan to keep uu the c25k and run 3 times a week and then to weight train twice a week and a long swim once a week. is this a good plan?
thanks in advance for any help

    yeah seems good.

stick to the compound lifts when gymming. deadlift, bench, shoulder press, squat etc

thanks for prompt reply. i was also wondering when it comes to winter dark nights is it ok to switch from road running to track running for safety reasons. i would be doing one road run a week which would include hills but the other 2 runs will be in the park on the flat or around the local running track.

in my book running is running.

Keep the intensity at a nice high level, keep the duration up.

if you want to "lose your belly", got to clean up the diet that made you get the belly in the first place!

Read the intermittent Fasting thread here if ya get some free time.
