Starting handle for BMW D7/12?

Anyone got a lead on a Starting handle for a BMW D7/12 inboard diesel?

Thats an odd one to try and find, I'd say your best bet would be here http://www.bmwmarine.net/parts.html or you might be able to get one made up in a machine shop. The engines were also used in some cement mixers so a tool hire shop might be another option.:D
It might also be worth putting an add on Done deal or adverts someone might have one sitting in their shed.

After a bit more digging I found that the D7 was based on the Hatz type HE673 and the D12 on the Hatz HE780 so these might also be able to help http://mgjuddltd.co.uk/starting_handles.php

if you can weld tack a nut on the end of the shaft. then u could start it with a socket welded to any kind of handle thats what i did for a lister i had.
