The Saturday routine is back!

Wife goes to work.
Put TV in for kids.
Turn on phone and furiously check BBC/FF scout/boards for injury and team news.
Change captain.
Have breakfast.
Change captain back.
Brush teeth.
Try to change captain again but can't log on.
Watch all day as my defenders go off at 59 minutes and my top striker misses a penalty.

Gameweek one about to be begin, so no better place for this advice.

Dont worry about what happens today. Maybe you dont have Torres and he hits a hattrick, and you find yourself thirty points behind the leaders already. So what? Its a marathon not a sprint, so dont panic buy, taking points hits or using the wildcard after week one.

Make the right choices over the year and you'll do alright. Week one is just one week.

You can view other people teams just fine, Click on their name (not team name) and Gameweek 1

Was going for Mata until I saw that interview with RDM, Hazard in for me. I reckon Mata will start on the bench for this game and then start the next so don't be too worried if he's in your team.

Started the season unlike I've ever done before.
I have 8 million in the bank.....

Want to wait to see what happens VP at utd before getting him in but planning on swapping Pog for him next week if all goes well. If not, I'll have money for bandwagons. Think Torres may be worth holding on for a while and need to have one of Tevez/Aguero in the team.

Sigurdsson v Santi and Cisse v Tevez were the only two calls I had to make. Team is fairly planned out for the next while though and that includes transfers. Just need to stay on top of the Double GW fixtures unlike last year where my challenge fell away. But yeah, enough with me waffling about.

On another point i just noticed a rival in one of my leagues with 4 united players!!! must have been because he had VP before he signed for united. did anyone else notice this with any teams????

Happened last season too, he wont be able to make a transfer though until he has just the 3 Utd players

Jasus, didn't even think of that! That's a nasty bug if it is to carry through the game week. That is surely one thing that should have been put through testing.

See KevIRL's post. They have to transfer out one of their United players with their first transfer, from what i can gather. Otherwise they can't make any transfers at all. Seems fair to me

I made some panic changes before going to bed, and managed to sleep through the deadline (it was 6:30am here). Woops.

Brought in Walters for Pienaar, then stuck Larsson on the bench.

Also swapped Schwarzer & Rafael for de Gea and Hangeland.

Hoping nothing bites me in the ass.

Kind of glad I missed the deadline though. Who knows what I would have done!
