According to insideTV Ciaran Hinds (Rome, Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, Munich) has been cast as The King Beyond The Wall. Personally, he is nothing like I pictured him. Good choice IMO. I always pictured Mance to be as old as Lord Commander Mormount. It's been years since he left the Nightswatch and became King beyond the wall!

i always pitcured Mance as a nimble scrawny guy who while doesn't look it can take care of himself. The look of a musician rather than a warrior so I am a bit suprised.

Saying that Hinds will have a powerful presence and be a great addition to the already quality cast.
