Hopefully it won't come to this but if you fail a repeat exam and need to repeat the module next year what is the craic with fees?

Lets say you fail a five credit module, going by the fees page it says you have to pay 55 Euro per credit and a levy (if its a full time course you're doing) of 272 Euro.

    That's 547 altogether.

Do you have to pay the registration fee of two thousand and odd euro on top of that?(2280?)

You most certainly do not. Just the fee for the module. The price differs depending on whether or not you just sit the exam or if you also pay for the lectures too.

yeah it's not too bad, I had to repeat the year doing one subject (10 credit D: ) the year before last. Gave me a lot of time to reassess! Good luck anyway and hopefully it won't have to come to that!
