Most won't be coming in until Wednesday. They may have finished but they'll head elsewhere for the few days until the port is ready for them. I'll post when I'm going out to meet them.

The Pogoria wasn't it? Is she the only one in port?
I remember in 2009 when I did the Tall Ships Race she was demasted early in the race....

    Pogoria is in DunLaoghaire.
Stavros and Lord Nelson in Waterford.
    Alex V Humboldt in Cork.
    Chopin is in Belfast.
Cuauhtemoc is cruising up and down the Irish sea.

Few more smaller boats came in yesterday but the rest are still knocking around waiting for later this week. they'll be moved down closer to the Customs house later this week.

I spotted three today hanging around off Dún Laoghaire, got quite close to them too. Should get some pictures up later. I only had a disposable so I have to get them developed first. They really are fantastic ships.

There will be a few small boat flotillas allowed up the river under escort today and tomorrow. Meeting point is at PBYC. Unescorted boats will be turned away at the EastLink. I'm not sure of the exact times but I expect it's every two hours.

    Port Notice.....

Dublin Port's notice to mariners for the festival.

Sightseeing craft will only be allowed past the Eastlink bridge for no more than 30 minutes at 10am, 12pm, 3pm and 7pm and may only navigate the Liffey as far as the Samuel Beckett Bridge. Extra toll bridge opening times may be added as demand dictates.

Dedicated escorting craft will be on hand to ensure a smooth procession. Sightseeing craft will not be allowed to go alongside the berths or vessels in the Tall Ships fleet, and no personal water craft such as Jet Skis or kayaks will be permitted.

Full details are included in the Dublin Port Company Notice to Mariners No 16 of 2012.
