Reportedly M'vila hasn't even been playing well this season either so I guess it's not just the off field behaviour

I reckon it's Neymar, Pirlo and Thiago Silva.

    It's the only obvious answer...

If its a "big" signing, its probably Michael Johnson.

Maybe all the times Wenger has said "the fans won't be happy unless we sign Messi" was some sort of massive double-bluff and young Lionel is currently on his way to Arsenal... seems a perfectly reasonable guess to me.

Looks like Cavani is the rumour. Highly doubt it but we can dream...

I just did a little giggle when I read this.

    Cavani?

    No.

Cavani could happen but only on two conditions ...

1: Barca, Real, Utd, City, Chelsea all don't want him. This one is possible if Chelsea sign Falcao as expected.

2: We break our wage structure, well and truly break it. This seems less likely.

Apparently Pep has is taking over Bayern in the summer, so it's not him either.

Or maybe it's David Villa ?

Seriously though lads cool the jets, just a sniff of a transfer from a tweet and this thread grows about 4 pages, stop torchering yourself this wont end well.

Its like getting a smile of a bird in the disco the excitment for about 10 minutes, the hype, the expecation your picturing the ride, the morning after breakfast and then she walks over and snoggs your mate who was standing beside you.

It sounds like you speak from experience, on the arsenal matter I mean. :P

I think you should let people have their fun. The sniff of a transfer is often the best bit.

The cold light of reality finds you waking up the following morning next to Gervinho

This sounds painfull, where exactly do you put the torch??

Baines and llorente/Dzeko for the two signings aswell please.

Dzeko would be a great signing. I dont pay all that much attention to City, but is he still usually a sub? If so, he might be tempted by being first choice albeit at a lower wage.

No hope of signing Dzeko. No point in either him or Llorente though. Just give Giroud done games.

Don't see why we can't play 4-4-2 and Dzeko has already hinted he will be moving on, do City really see us as a big enough threat that they would refuse to sell to us??

    Arsenal.com ‏@Arsenal

Arsenal team: Szczesny, Sagna, Mertesacker, Vermaelen, Gibbs, Coquelin, Wilshere, Diaby, Cazorla, Walcott, Giroud #AFCvSCFC

Looks like Cazorla out wide left with Walcott out the right. Pretty strong team out.

I'm convinced he was signed for the wing, I we sign someone to replace diaby (he won't stay fit) we will see more of cazorla on the wing

I reckon podolski will get his chance up top then

You can also probably expect Walcott just to play up front, not track back and leave Sagna totally exposed for the whole game.

Thought Ramsey deserved a shout ahead of Diaby for tonight, especially with Diaby and his injury record, wouldn't have thought it would be a good idea to play two games back to back for him.

I think Wenger has learned that wrapping Diaby in cotton wool hasnt worked over the years so he will play him as much as possible now, maybe it might work because the way I see it the more he plays the more he strenghtens.

Hope your right. He owes Wenger a few games in a row at this stage.
