Fractured Metatarsal - recovery time?

    A scan revealed yesterday that i have fractured the metarsal just below my big toe..
    Have to see a consultant later in week. Any advice relating to potential time off training/running/gym work and what measure medics might take to begin the healing process??

    Rest until you see the consultant.

    Then do whatever he/she says.
