Hiii, I'm still trying to find accomodation in Dublin. 3 of my friends go to UCD, and we're trying to find 4 rooms nearby... I've looked all over internet, they're all either taken, or not answering. even calls. I'm starting to worry now as I've taken a week off work to view places starting Friday and as of yet, I have no where. Can anybody help me? I'm desperate at this point!

Yeah you're in a tough spot alright, especially if you have a tight budget. All I can recommend is two ways of searching (and I would say do them both):

    A) Go to Daft.ie. Go to "Lettings" and then "College Search". Tick the box that says "nearby or on a public transport route that goes there" and pick UCD from the list. Pick 4 rooms as a minimum and put in the max price you're willing to spend. Now search and see what comes up. Call everything decent asap to arrange viewings.

    B) Go to some real estate agents in the area and see if they have anything. I found that they often had a few properties that they had not put up online yet.

In either case, it's a good (sometimes essential) idea to have some references for each person in the house (from a teacher, employer, landlord etc).
