Multiple BSN supplements

    Hey Guys,

I've a nutrition question I was hoping someone could answer for me. I used to be big gym goer; back in the day I used to take BSN's NO-Xplode which I found great.

Now that I've finally gotten back into the game I'm looking to start taking some supplements again. So my question is:

Would there be a problem with taking the following supplements together:

    BSN Nitrix 360 Tabs
    BSN NO Xplode -- pre-workout
    And of course protein

As you can tell I am / was a big fan of BSN products. So would taking all these products be too taxing?

    Thanks,
    Phil

They'd be very taxing on your wallet, that's for sure.

You don't need the 1st two.

Buy caffeine tablets or just have a strong coffee before training.

As for protein, BSN syntha 6 is very high in sugar & is not a supplement I'd recommend taking except directly after training when you're trying to get simple carbs & protein in.
Buying whey & dextrose seperately us a more cost effective way though.

    Keep it simple.
    Fish oil
    Multi vitamin
    Whey

    Optional
    Caffeine
    Casein (before bed)
Dextrose (to mix with whey before & after workout)

    Essential
    Diet consisting of real food

Thanks for the advice! Yeah your right about taxing the wallet :-)

So just a couple of questions if you dont mind

    1) Fish oil -- I assume your just talking about fish oil tablets?
    2) Multi vitamin -- Would something like Pharmaton do for that?
    3) Whey -- Can you recommend a good Whey for me please?

    Thanks a mill!

    1) Awesome - http://www.iherb.com/Carlson-Labs-The-Very-Finest-Fish-Oil-Lemon-Flavor-16-8-fl-oz-500-ml/2796?at=0
    2) Any generic multi would do in my book, maybe 2 if you're REALLY worried
    3) http://www.myprotein.com/ie/products/impact-whey-protein

That's what I would, and have, spent my money on.

2 - generic multi vit. I just take the tesco ones
3 - ON whey, Nutrition X big whey & my protein whey as Hanley mentioned.
