I'm new to this forum so not sure if i'm posting this in the correct section but would really appreciate some help here if anyone can contribute.

Last week i felt really tired wednesdy morn, during the day i napped and by evening my temp had gone up and my throat was real sore. Couldnt sleep that night and throat was still very sore. Went to doc thursday morn said it was tonisilits and gave me calvepen 666mg. THey did nothing, fever and sore throat remained. Went different doc friday morn, he gave me clavamel forte. no effect either. Developed a sore on my lip aswell plus had one in the roof of my mouth. continued with the clavamel until sunday. Still no sleep, still fever, still really bad throat and more sores on my lips and inside of mouth. Went to A&E Sunday morn, they ran some blood tests, gave me pain killers and they think it could be more like galndular fever rather than tonsilitis. Pain killers helped a bit but when they wore off pain returns. But the sores on my lips and inside of mouth are more painfult than ever. Got tiny bit of sleep last night. I have to wait to see when the blood tests are fully analysed to know what the diagnosis is. THis takes a few days, have to drop them around to my gp today. Is there anything i can do to treat the blisters on my lip and mouth, like a gel or cream? Could this be an std? my genitals are perfectly normal, no pain when i urinate and no spots or itchiness.
