Vitamin E is a fat-soluble antioxidant that stops the production of reactive oxygen species formed when fat undergoes oxidation and I read it is a good source of antioxidant that helps reduce an individual's risk of this particular disease. I have also seen on many ads that it is good to improve one's skin as what Chancer3001 commented. So I think magic pill is somewhat connected to 'beauty' aspect.
