Im a new Postgrad student in TCD but will be based in St. James Kilmainham. Any advice on where to live?! Have been advised not to live along the luas red line. Anybody else in the predicament of wanting to live Rathmines/Ranelagh are but having to the long daily commute?! Interested to hear from others looking for house share in those areas ..

I think there may be an excessive element of snobbery / paranoia in that from whoever said it. Yes, there are some problems on the Red Line, but seeing as it goes through the hospital, you can't avoid it. It would also be useful if you have any placements in Tallaght Hospital.
