JSB while in education

I know you can't claim JSB or JSA while in college, but my query is about part time education. If I take a place on a part time course (one evening per week), would I still be eligible for the JSB? I know the stipulation is to be available and actively seeking full time work (which I am doing and will continue to do) but…

If I take a place on a part time course (one evening per week), would I still be eligible for the JSB? I know the stipulation is to be available and actively seeking full time work (which I am doing and will continue to do) but would I be stopped from getting JSB if I were to go to college one night per week, even though I am still available and seeking full time employment?

Yes, it's possible under the Part Time Education Option. You should inform the SW office ahead of time and get approval. Payment will remain the same through the post office, same amount, no book allowance and you sign on as usual. Info here
