Lock Jaw, teeth in dreams.

Been having continuous dreams for years now where i have lock jaw, it feels as though it's real obviously & during it i try wedge my jaw apart with my hand but can't do it, also during this dream my upper set of teeth seem to get stuck/lodges at the back of my bottom set of teeth. Been having continuous dreams for years now where i have lock jaw, it feels as though it's real obviously & during it i try wedge my jaw apart with my hand but can't do it, also during this dream my upper set of teeth seem to get stuck/lodges at the back of my bottom set of teeth. These dreams are brutal & would be on my mind for hours after waking up even sometimes during the day i'd feel a pain in my jaw & think it's coming again. Anyone any idea why this is?
