As for the coke Lidl freeway is the way to go no pun intended. :P
Yeah I dont mind the Lidl drinks but most of ALDI's stuff is awful in my opinion. If you're in Lidl before that they have their energy drinks for the same price but I dont think they taste as good, but they are better than most Red Bull clones :P

I find some of the frozen stuff nicer/cheaper in Aldi depends what you are buying me thinks. As for red bull it is way to over priced.

It seems that all these top notch places have high prices on almost anything.

I think they are the only cans at the standard retail size ;) You have to fork out a premium to get a Pepsi max rather than a standard Pepsi :P

If you put premium Pepsi whatever the hell that is  and standard Pepsi in two different glasses i wouldn't be able to tell the difference hands down. :p

Many will still pay over the odds for the small one. I am guessing the big ones were not chilled in these cases. Most buying small bottles want it chilled and to be able to drink out of it easily, so will pay a premium. Its like 2 very different items to most consumers in my mind, it would be sort of like saying "the local centra charge €2 for a cup of coffee/tea, while they sell the teabags/instant coffee really cheap"

Yes, Pepsi max is a different flavoured version of diet pepsi, just like coke zero & diet coke. They have also dropped the diet term to attract the macho men who otherwise shun "diet drinks"
