Stinky nets

So, I was out fishing yesterday and by the end of the day I had a load of bream in my keepnet and after releasing the fish I rinsed both the keepnet and the landing net out in the canal to try and get rid of the slime and then when I got home I washed them in the sink with fairy liquid but this morning they still stink…

What do you normally do with your nets to get rid of the smell?

The best thing to do is to leave them out in the fresh air to dry out completely and then put them back in your net bag. The worst thing you could do is was them with washing up liquid.
