    I teach the word processing course to PLC but was on maternity leave last year. I know there is a new course coming in 5N1358 but have I got it right that this new course does not have to be started until next September. I have always used 8 assignments but see from the new description that it is 20% assignment 80% exam so I would need time to draft a whole new assessment.

    As far as I know B20032 is not being deactivated until December 2013, so yes that probably means that you would be ale to use the "old" Module Descriptor for the coming academic year. However you should check this with your provider just to make sure.

    Also there should be a more detailed breakdown of requirements of the FETAC Module Descriptor. FAS has just recently made these available to tutors on FAS courses at Level 5 so I assume these have also been completed by the VECs etc at this stage.
