Few questions?

Looking at building a new PC this side of xmas, but on a tight budget, will probably buy it bit by bit, but just a few questions:

Does the Antec One Hundred fill with dust since it has a mesh front?

Do SSDs die very quickly compared to a standard hard drive?

Best SSD out of Kingson, Corsair, OCZ and samsung, looking at the 63GB ones?

Are AMD FM1 prosessors actually any good? Something like this: http://www.elara.ie/productdetail.aspx?productcode=MMEB960731

    Cheers

    No idea sorry

Not really - some are more reliable than others but thats true of HDDs - look at the warranty when buying - they will vary by drive from the same manufacturer so be careful

Samsung is the accepted wisdom here

FM1 are probably not great but FM3 Trinity APUs available in October sometime might be great for budget builds. It will very much depend on what the market does.

Not really sure - I've not been looking at AMD processors and prices. You'll have to look at the benchmarks and compare prices. Try Toms Hardware.

Correction: Trinity will be FM2 not FM3 Sorry.

Bad idea if you're thinking of buying pieces bit by bit. Computer items fall in value quickly and are no goo to you on a shelf.

You could build a system without a graphics card and buy that later. Or you can buy a cheap CPU but a good motherboard with options for upgrading.
If this is something that's still a few months away, you should probably come back then.

FM2 will be out end of next month or the month afterwards. These look reasonably good for a budget system and better than current FX CPUs (AM3+) and Llano (FM1). Intel will have a new line of i3s too.
