Ineed some diet advice to lose weight and body fat. Currently over 15 stone and want to get to 13 & half.

Bfast - actimel brown bread, nature valley bar banana, cereal

Lunch - a salad of egg, ham, chicken cheese and stuffing or a brown bread Cajun chicken cheese and stuffing sandwich followed by a yoghurt

    Afternoon - apple

Dinner - steak, spaghetti bolongese chicken fajitas, beef burgers

Any diet help advice? I don't eat salads and am not very adventurous from the typical Irish diet

Most of that diet is poor to be frank. Replace that breakfast with a large omelette or porridge. You don't like salad but you have it for lunch? Cut out the bread. Try cooking extra meat and night and having it with green veg, sweet potato, roasted veg etc. Same goes for dinner, ditch processed burgers, sauces, etc. Any fish, chicken, turkey or steak with a large portion of greens. Increase your intake of healthy fats too - nuts are great for this but watch the calories, wouldn't go over 50g a day. Fish oils are great for getting the fat too.

I don't like the green side of salad cucumbers lettuce tomatoes etc.

Are carrots and turnips fine as veg too?

    All veg is fine.

Your breakfast is probably the least helpful of your meals, if weight loss is the goal. Replace it with a big omelette (4 eggs or so) with as many ingredients as you can fit in (meat & veg).

If you want to get more bang for your buck, cut out the bread at lunch and the pasta/fajita wraps/burger buns at dinner. Basically, cut out all food with any grains as ingredients and replace it with meat/fish and veg.

I am picky when it comes to veggies but you have to learn how to digest them. They're healthy.

Change to eggs - scrambled, boiled, omelet.

Lunch - a salad of egg, ham, chicken cheese and stuffing or a brown bread Cajun chicken cheese and stuffing sandwich followed by a yogurt
Salad with egg, ham, chicken is perfect leave out the bread and add plenty of veg/salad. have natural yogurt with berries

    Afternoon - apple
Change to avocado or small handful of nuts

Dinner - steak, spaghetti bolongese chicken fajitas, beef burgers
Stick to meat/fish and veg. Cut out all the carb and processed foods (pasta, fajitas)

:confused::confused::confused::confused:If you are that dedicated to losing weight and wanting results you are going to need to become adventurous. There are loads of nice foods out there that aren't processed and full with unneeded carbs, sugars etc. Green and lean!

You should read the stickies on the forum, great advice on them and also read through the other threads posted. people posting more or less the same questions with the same decent advice been given over and over again.
