Hi everyone, I hope none of you mind but I am a male posting on behalf of my girlfriend. I read the charter and couldn't find any rule against this so I hope it's ok?

This is about a personal body issue so I'll put a spoiler thing over the text.
Anyway, lately she's been worried because her nipples have been constantly erect and sore. She's worried she is pregnant but is on the contraceptive bar so neither of us can see how this is possible. We are both 20 and she is getting quite worried. Have any of you any advice or reassurance for her and myself. Doctors are expensive and although a professional opinion may put our worries to rest, we were wondering if anybody has any advice as regards the bar and the chances of becoming pregnant. If not pregnant, what could be her problem? I realise I shouldn't be requesting medical help and am not looking for somebody to say "oh this is your problem" but she is just worried and any reassurance or if anybody has been in a similar situation and can offer advice to both she and I, we would greatly appreciate it.

    Thanks for any help.

She needs to see her GP.

Even if someone else had exactly the same symptoms, it could have different causes. You can't get an answer without going to see someone.

The charter states that we cannot give medical advice on boards.ie.

Tell your girlfriend see a GP at once if she is worried. Doctors are expensive, but you can't out a price on health.

It's against the rules of the boards.ie to look for, or to give, medical advice.

Your girlfriend needs to go to her GP

    Best of luck
