    Moved to H&F.

You can't really spot reduce with exercise (unless the internetz has decided otherwise since I used to read about it!). Diet (prob less refined carbs), sleep (more), stress (less) etc will probably play more of a part here.

easy, lose weight all over and it will go too.
its an easy answer because there is no other way of doing it without surgery.

From personal experience it is very diet-dependent, (in my experience) you really need to cut all breads/"white carbs"/junk food, lots of veg and white meat.

As for exercises I would advise the usuals...crunches, leg raises (captains chair) and bridges. In addition to these you need to work the entire torso area so do wood chops, medicine ball torso rotation, TRX-strap standing ab fall outs. Basically anything that will force the core of your body to work (all heavy compound movements deadlift/squat/bench build muscle and help burn fat).

Personally I find the wood chops, ball work, etc a hell of a lot more enjoyable than the crunches and I think it adds a lot to your midriff.

What the previous poster said, from experience I've also found a decent amount of CV. It'll help buy the layer of fat on your stomach (actually all over) and give a much better tone. I've found it's the difference between an ok six pack and a pretty awesome one.

Plenty of cardio to start you off, cut the junk food, I also recommend knocking milk on the head, or at least reducing it drastically. I only drink a drop of the stuff in coffee.

A very important point. Without wanting to start a debate on the "milk- good or bad" I personally found cutting out milk/dairy very beneficial. And I'd recommend a black coffee in the morning as I find it gives an extra boost to my metabolism.

Cardio is very important but the thing to note is that without a good diet it wont be that effective, as your body will build up the fitness without shedding "the tire".

I agree, diet is very important but you need to do exercises too! I actually have a similar situation, I'm slim but can't get rid of my tummy after being pregnant! I love going to the gym but can't see the results yet, maybe I'm doing wrong exercises??? I've recently found some hardcore tummy excercises and will try them soon; will post my impressions, hope it will work :)
    Good luck!
