My therapist said it time for to me clean. I wrote the bible. It was supposed to be a joke, just a little bit of a troll on some friends of mine. Then it all got out of hand and before I knew it my friends had passed it on to their friends and family and loads of gullible people started acting like it was real. It was like a landslide, I just couldn't stop it. I'm sorry society, for all the wrongs I have caused.

In fairness to the OP I'm going to give you a proper answer to your question. The bible was written by the same people who said the Earth was flat, the same people that said the Earth stood still and the Sun and Stars moved around it, the same people that stoned others to death and the same people that feared the unknown. Time has shown them to be wrong on a lot of things, so why not one more?

Christianity is evangelistic primarily because Christians believe that if you sin before God, and one is guilty before Him (as we all are - Romans 3:23) one deserves to be condemned eternally. However, God in His mercy sent His Son Jesus Christ, so that if you sincerely repent, you will be forgiven, die to your old sinful nature, and be born again to a new relationship with God, and ultimately to live eternally with Him. It's good news for that reason.

It would be immoral for Christians not to tell others about this. If I believed this, and I didn't tell anyone about it, I'd be a monster.

The gentleman on the street wearing a tinfoil hat and shouting telling passers by that the government is reading their brainwaves for x, y ,z reasons believes it immoral for him not to tell everyone the "truth" he knows but all he really ends up doing is pissing off everyone who doesn't share his delusions.
