Ok I live with 3 other women. Ranging in age from 25 to 45 and they do my head in most of the time.
The 25 year old has absolutely no social skills, id incredibly rude alot of the time and also as boring as hell.
The 30 yr old never cleans up and throws a giddy fit when I tell her its her turn.
The 45 year old has dumps all her personal crap on me.
As for me I'm very normal and totally sound.
Would move but house is lovely and great location.
Anyone else have annoying house mates?

That's why you come onto a public forum to slate your housemates? What if somebody on here knows you?

Maybe you're the one who annoys them?

You're living with too many people, time to move imo

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 493 ✭✭huey1975

Yeah I live with my wife and our two year old son. He's normally sound enough but she is liable to piss me off sometimes.

I now live alone when I previously lived in shared accomodation I shared with an individual who had a few "quirks"

-I found his mouldy bread in the bread bin and through it out, he was anoyed as "You can make alcohol from mouldy bread"
-He lived on the scraps of what other people in the house ate and on occasion took food I had put in the bin and ate it
-He came down the stairs one morning with a large swastica(sp) drawn on his hand when I asked him what the hell he was doing he said "The Zionists had ruined his country (he was greek) "

Rent a one bed apartment no one to bother you then. I don't understand people who share and then expect everyone to live by their rules.

Being so specific with their ages may not have been the smartest idea :p

I think I'll be ok, anyway the 25 year old probably doesn't know they lack social skills, the 45 year old probably thinks I love listening to her. As for the 30 year old, she knows her lack of cleaning annoys me.

We don't argue or anything but we're just all very different.

Since you come on a public forum to bitch about your house mates I will take that with a pinch of salt ;)

Ah come on cut me some slack, I'm not saying they're bad people or anything just they tend to get on my nerves.
For instance last Thursday I didn't get in from work until 11pm and I was shattered, the eldest house mate starts going on and on about her personal stuff. I honestly don't mind listening to people etc but surely she should have had some sense to realise it wasn't a great time.

Have you thought it might be you that's wrong here?

Do they get on with each other?

Stop with all the talky-talk OP and just have sex with them. Come back with pics / video.

In that case why not just do your own thing and let them do theirs.
Coming on here bitching about them only serves to make you look bad and them look like saints to put up with you. Sorry.

It usually makes them look bad not the other way round.

Sorry next time maybe include in your op that you are not perfect either and don't make everyone else out to be bitches.

In all fairness, some people can be emotionally draining by constantly going on about their personal issues.

Does anyone consider themselves to be perfect?
I take it no one ever annoys you?
These people are not friends btw, I just happen to share a house with them that's all.

Ah in fairness, I think it was just because you were so specific with their ages that people think they'll see it and get upset. We know you were only having a bit of fun really.
