    Hi folks

I've been appointed replacement mod for the forum when arnhem44 steps down as the current mod. Basically I'd like to ask any users of the forum if there are any ideas you might have for improving or developing the forum further? Don't be shy, throw anything out there & I'll see what I can do.

I look forward to posting with you all, & helping where I can to make the forum as enjoyable as possible :)

    Hi Enternow,

My experience from visiting this forum is that there are threads about the nerdier games such as those found on boardgamegeek.com; and there are threads about toys for kids.

I'm more interested in the former, and don't visit here that regularly because often the latest threads will be about kids toys.

I wonder if the two topics were separated, would it create a more lively forum?

    MD

While I agree with this in some sense, to be honest, I don't think either one is high traffic enough to justify it's own forum. The only way to ensure good quality geeky content here is to post about it yourself to promote discussion. Start some threads about your own favorite games.

Personally, I don't see any problems with the forum Enternow, the moderating here has never been to heavy or light handed.

Agreed, neither subject on its own would warrant separation really...

@Mother Duck If you wanna post about a certain genre of game & you don't see it - feel free to post it yourself. There may be others who feel the same as yourself & once they see the subject, it'll coax all the lurkers out :)
