Ye always were a weird bunchFunnily enough the counties up home don't matter as much. :pac:
Down here if you ask someone where they're from they tend to just name the county.
Up there we name the town / city / whatever. If someone up home asked me where I was from and I said Armagh they'd either assume I was from the City of Armagh (which I'm not) or they'd look at me funny.
I'd say Kerry, normally people would then say 'oh which part' before I'd say Killarney - it's strange enough I guess but just another Irish-ism of doing things in a roundabout fashion!0 -
