Skylar could really do with taking some blue to chill the f*ck out and get off Walt's case.

The lab looked so good. Mike seems like he'll play a big part in this.

That scene in the desert with the cars channeling classic westerns was a beauty.

American TV adverts are hilarious. They're either for fast food or some sort of drug that has side effects which may cause death :pac:

What happened to ted last season? I can't remember

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 28,710 ✭✭✭✭Paully D

Ted is not dead then. Had a feeling that would be the case.

    Love Saul Goodman, he's hilarious!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 109 ✭✭Inscrutable

Nothing happened to Ted iirc. Maybe failed suicide attempt?

Slipped and banged his head off a cupboard when trying to run away from the 2 guys sent to get him to write the cheque for the taxman. Looked like he may have been killed but turns out he's just woke from a coma.

He fell over some oranges and slid into a wall. It was magic.

He owed money to the IRS, and Skyler gave it to him, he wouldn't send it in then 2 of Sauls men went over and forced him to write the cheque to the IRS. He tried to escape and fell into a press headfirst.:pac:

There didn't seem to be much smashing in that evidence room.

Using chrome myself....seems to lag for no reason sometimes though.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,850 ✭✭✭FouxDaFaFa

I laughed when I saw Ted. I'm going to hell.

Walt is giving me the creeps. It's like he's on constant "I am the one who knocks" mode.

@NoelJ, didn't have to smash. A magnet that powerful would break the laptop.

Chrome for me too, it stalled once or twice during the first ad break for me. But it's pretty smooth with UPC broadband.

Only got to the first few rows of evidence....Hope the laptop was wiped or else

What was said between Skylar and Ted? My stream died for that scene

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 28,710 ✭✭✭✭Paully D

Chrome for me too. It skipped a bit during the 1st 10 minutes but has been fine ever since. I'd imagine it was because people were piling on to watch it at that time. Perfect quality though.

Does it have to be broken or will the magnet just destroy the laptop anyway?

Ted: "I will not breathe a word of this to anyone."
    Skyler: "Good."

The magnet should destroy the hard drive...looks like it did too but what was written down on the picture frame they found on the floor does anyone know?

    http://forums.cnet.com/7723-7588_102-239771/can-i-erase-my-hd-with-a-big-magnet/
To erase a drive you need a high frequency AC magnetic field. Bringing a powerful magnet close to a drive will "corrupt" the data as the individual flux lines will change certain bits. The drive may be unreadable, but can be reformatted and possibly repaired. A hammer is a better erase device.

Thats not so bad when you consider that once we get halfway through, we have to wait a year.:(

Good episode that. Shattered so I'll probably watch it again tomorrow.

I assume the hard drive was wiped, alright.

I think there were details of a bank account in the Caymans in the frame.

Those watching AMC: was that Mike's voice on the Chrysler ad?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 616 ✭✭✭NoelJ

    It said BankSuisse Cayman
    Routing Number #37014102
Then it just has loads of letters and numbers below

Whether it was an address or bank acc number it'll probably play a big part in the coming episodes.

That episode went way too fast, can't wait for the next one

edit* not sure if that was mikes voice or not

Good espisode, Walt is asserting his authority big time, he reminded me of Ralph Fiennes in Schindler's List at the end there - "I pardon you".

Was a good episode, it's gonna be painful to wait a week in between episodes now:(

Looks like it's a bank acc no. in the picture

Better hope that laptop had a harddrive and not an SSD.

Great episode. They must be doing the alternate side-plot at the beginning at each show to keep you guessing what is going on/how Walt got to this point and it will no doubt marry into the current storyline sorta Memento style (going from the Black and White story to Colour).

I want more and I want it now!!
