Not a whole lot. A Facebook page can make you money by driving customers to buy your product. If you're not selling anything, you can't make money. You don't have control over advertising space on Facebook, so you can't sell that. The best you could do is offer companies the chance for you to "recommend" stuff on the page, but I can't see many companies going for that, and even if they did, you'd rapidly see that 90,000 number falling

What about if I sold the page? I presume people would want to buy a page with nearly 100,000 likes?

Why would they want to buy it? The page presumably has a purpose. If someone buys and turns it into a fan-page for the "ToasterMatic 3000! BUY IT NOW!", it no longer has the purpose that 90,000 people liked it for, and they will remove it

hmmmm....if i were you i would keep building on my likes and go down the route of contacting companies maybe local ones that are in the stages of upstarting..as they would scramble for the publicity and would be ensured some publicity, and build it from there,go to other people and the more companies you get the better,it might be hard work at the beginning and you might feel like you will never get there, but even if you dont ,you can say nothing ventured nothing gained..

I know it no longer serves the purpose to why people liked it in the first place but I still dont think that will stop people wanting to buy it I mean an audience of 90,000 is quite a lot considering whatever you post reaches 90,000 facebook home pages. Im sure people could find a use for it

Or the company could just purchase advertising direct from Facebook. Advertising isn't useful unless it can be targeted. Companies don't just think "wow, I can reach a lot of people, that's great", they want to know who they're reaching, the clickthrough rate, the likelihood of a sale, the ROI.

The only way you could possibly sell it is if you convince them that they can turn a profit by owning the page

do spammers not buy these sort of pages?

though you'll probably need more than 90k for them to be interested
