We should see some fireworks tomorrow, but from froome (ooops) I mean whom? :pac:

ie. those 2 climbs are tough!!

Last part of the 1st climb is 3.5km @ 11.8%

two 1's ina row....could be tasty

It's a pity the summit of the last climb is 38.5km from the finish.
They pretty much descend from the Mur de Péguère into the town of Foix, head out of the town for a few kilometres, then do a U-turn back into Foix. If the stage ended when they reach Foix first, it would be a class finish. The extra 13 km or so to the finish after they first reach Foix will probably deter any attacks from GC contenders (or else give Sky enough time to reel anybody back in).

The two 1st Cat. climbs should put a lot of people in trouble nonetheless; especially the last few km of the Mur de Péguère

Looks like a day for a breakaway with the climbs being so far out from the finish. Wish the stage finished on that final climb, that would have been fun.

I have a feeling Evans will have a dig in this one.
Doubt it'll come to anything though.

I think Evans has to at least try to put some time into Wiggo, or else give up and let TJ win the Young Rider's jersey.

dropped riders have rejoined the peleton, but, if they were dropped on a cat 2 climb, I'd say it's a temporary reprieve.

    EDIT: ^^^^ d'oh, I hadn't seen your post.

They are now back in the peloton/yellow jersey group.
But hopefully it is an indication that they are not feeling strong today.

Escape probably won't get much rope until Sagan sits up.

edit: As I type that, they let them out to 4 mins. Shows what I know.

    edit: nearly 10 mins now

I agree entirely I just don't get the "hanging around" thing! A race is a race .... you wouldn't see Moto GP riders or athletes slowing up if someone has an equipment malfunction!
