Has anyone done a conversation course from civil/structural to any other engineering discipline and are there any short courses for someone who was considering this.

    Thank you.

    Thank you.

DPS have done a few. Expensive unless you qualify through social welfare.

A short course it isn't and I think you would be fooling yourself to think that a short course would even get you in the door.

    +1

A short course wont cut it, I am sure you acquired skills in the civil discipline which would help but mechanical engineering is a completely different ball game.

I would not be considering it as a conversion either, consider it more a completely new degree as thats what it is. You would probably gain entry into 2nd year in most degree courses.
