Eircom broadband in ballinrobe

Hi, Anyone out the Kilmaine road in Ballinrobe got Eircom broadband, specifically in Tower View? Im thinking of getting it and wondering if your speeds are decent enough? Thanks

I live in tower view, I brought the bb as I was told it was 8mb next generation. The fact is it may be next generation into the estate, but the copper cabling in the estate isn't good enough. Saying that off peak times I can get 8mb, but peak times (weekends and evenings) it drops to 5-7mb. I suppose its good enough, we watch a lot of iptv (sky go), sometimes it buffers like crazy.
