We are constantly bombarded with expendable untalented personalities that seem to permeate the airways. Every facet of the media is polluted with useless celebrities who do absolutely nothing or "jack squat!" as Matt Foley the motivational speaker would say.

For that reason I often wonder who is the most useless celebrity and why are we drawn to idolising people who are less talented than us?

Huh? Am I the only person not inundated with worthless drivel about people who are questionably considered celebreties, or even people who are rightly considered celebreties for that matter?

I do 2 very simple things:
1) I skip pass the Gossip section in newspapers.
2) I don't look at the Entertainment features on News websites.

As a result I don't know who anyone is, what they are doing, or even who they are doing.

Even just seeing stills photo is enough to deduce them as freaks of the highest order. They must live on strange, bizarre personal life. Unless you are a professional athlete who needs to maintain physical and mental discipline, any man of their age not squandering their fortune on an endless supply booze, drugs and women should be sectioned.

I wouldn't consider anyone that serves a purpose to be a celebrity. I would consider then to be artist/ entatainers/ business people/ anything but a celebrrity.

Currently listening to Tracy Chapman. To me calling her a celebrity downgrades her and her work.

I also tend to avoid the **** rag tabloids and the Xpose nonsense on the telly box, surprisingly I recognise alot of different names but couldn't identify them or their music/whatever.
