I imagine a large amount of the guys here will invest in JSC Sports, Cyfra + do a good deal for premier league too also.

Cyfra and JSC for me again I'd say. I got great value from it last season. Paid about €250 in total for both cards. Might get a more expensive Cyfra card next season to avail of Eurosport as I am into cycling. Don't like watching Eurosport with the german commentary on 19.2E.

I had a Cyfra + HD card a few years back - Great card, pity sport aint in English but the movies were.....

I'll be getting another cyfra+ card - excellent Premiership coverage... and you get used to the Polish commentary, it makes as much sense as the English guys usually do :D

I'm seriously considering going for the JSC card too - if the paycheck stretches that far

I'm still considering my options. But so far, I can't see past the Cyfra/JSC mix either, which i've had for the past two seasons.

I was looking at this Cyfra Card

    http://www.satsklep.pl/index.php?s=produkt&id_prod=1885&id_kat=80&id_typu=0

That'd get me HBO and Eurosport in HD too.

In previous years, there was no point in me getting Sky Italia as I found i had very poor reception levels on a few of the HD Sports channels. I've moved house now and have decent 13 and 19.2 reception, so it's back to being an option if the price was right.

I still haven't seen any reviews on how Bein Sport is working out. No Premiership on this though.

Anybody know what the Belgian sat providers are like for sport? I go back and forth there a fair bit, so i might be able to pick something up.

There's TV Vlanderen http://en.kingofsat.net/pack-tvvlaanderen.php <<<< Which has Eurosport & stuff like that, I'm nearly sure you wont get any EPL on that or top leagues...

Apparently a Dutch C+ Digitaal card (holland) can be bought in Belgium, which has plenty of football on it>>> http://en.kingofsat.net/pack-canaldigitaal.php

Toddle over to the Soccer Forum for other options, if any of the cards prove uneconomical.

I have no interest in streaming.

I will probably go for that Cyfra card posted above. I see Eurosport in Poland show the Bundesliga also so that would be most of the leagues covered.

    I've gone Cyfra+ again, 6 month card.

Ordered this card (plus a new receiver) on Sunday and it turned up Thursday whilst I was at work. Put the card in the existing receiver for now, will set up the new one at the weekend.

EDIT: I think you get The Championship on SportKlub with this card.

Looks too good to be true to be honest. Anyone got this package before?

Also, I can't seem to find the exact channel listing you get with the package (I'm going to send an email to find out) cause it's not clear if you just get the Calcio channels or/and the Sky Sports channels.

Its either/or. One package with calcio and news. The other is sports and news. I think i'd be more tempted by documentaries and sport...but a good offer.

Tv corner have a good rep so i assume its fine.

Sport + Entertainment is a better option, I had this once before. Barring the Prem, a lot of the sport was in English and it also opened Calcio channels on Champions League nights for more match choices. Entertainment option gave a decent choice of family viewing including Fox (loads of Simpsons for the kids).

My first card (Calcio+Ent+Doc, 6 month) was great but the second one (Sport+Ent, 12 month) was switched off after 4 months and that put me off risking cash on another. Note, these weren't from TVCorner though - I've never had a problem buying from them.

My first card was ART, jesus they showed some amount of Football, especially from the Premier League.

I have Sky Italia now & can confirm it's an absolute brilliant package for footy & sport, that particular package will only open Calcio & entertainment - but a great deal never the less.

Can't wait for the season to start now :)

It looks like there's Sky Sport & Calcio HD with that, if it is - it's an amazing price.

I can't see the option for Sport and Calcio instead of News. Also, anyone running card in OSCAM/CCcam or are they paired to the box for HD channels (as they used to be!)?

EDIT: I read your post wrong! only Sport or Calcio. What sort of spread is there of PL games across the Sports channels and Calcio channels? Cyfra has done me for the last few years but this price does look good!

They all operate at a very good quality HD level, but Sky Calcio & Sport have a huge amount of football on their channels in HD.

Just a shame English has been stopped

Are the PL games mostly on Calcio or could they be on either, varying each week?

English commentary doesn't bother me as I just use one of my other boxes to get Radio5L or Talksport and pump that through the speakers. Better commentary anyway IMO!

Games are always on Calcio & mostly sport too - think there is only 1 live game now at 3pm on a Saturday though because of the FA.

Ah, I'll stick with Cyfra so. I think I only missed one UTD game last season with them and "found" that elsewhere anyway. Unbeatable value from Cyfra if you're a fan of the top 4 clubs. They don't really do much else from the PL though for other fans.

Lads, might go for the Cyfra card but some questions, does anybody run one of these cards with an azbox? if so does it update ok? Also, does it update ok on a technomate 6900?

Are you running Enigma2 on it? To be honest I am not certain about the Azbox but I have used the Cyfra cards in DM500, DM800's and multiple Vu Plus boxes (running CCcam and OSCAM) The last card I got, didn't activate and I needed to contact Satsklep and get them to activate (although this took about 2 weeks, they were really slow), once they did that it updated itself fine for the duration..

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 104 ✭✭Beamobhoy

yeah, running e2 on it - so cccam "should" clear it then! Thing is with the azbox, it's very volatile so i would like to know if someone has cleared this card! Also happy that only 1 Utd game was missing! I could live with that - just!

Guys, whats the best card for English Premiership (specifically United) games? Wha channels should I be looking out for?

I want to keep renewals down to a minium, something like this would be ideal:

    http://satsklep.pl/de_DE/p/Cyfra-Paket-KOMPAKT/688

Just need sports, no movies or HD required.

That one is only for 5 months + current month so you should buy it at the very start of the month.

These ones are probably the ones that you need:

    http://satsklep.pl/en_US/p/Cyfra-MULTIPACKAGE-HD-13-months/689

    or

    http://satsklep.pl/en_US/p/Cyfra-Package-START/686

You only need a package with Canal+, Canal+sport, Canal+Gol and Canal+Weekend for the United games

Al Jazeera showed pretty much every Celtic match that sky or espn were showing and I think one other match (against St Johnston iirc that had delayed coverage on bbc alba). Can't remember them showing the cup matches though.

Yeah, I just tried a dummy order and get the same. You could try e-mailing them to see what the story is. They used to deliver to Ireland as I've ordered off them three times before.
