tonsilectomy waiting lists? how long were you waiting?

I've been on the list almost a year I think, just wondering how long other have had to wait, ive been told around 2-3 years is a good guess as to how long i'll have to wait. Sigh :(

i was just wondering if anybody knows if mayo general hospital takes tonsils out or do you have to go to galway??

not sure tbh id imagine it would be kerry general for me... if i ever get a call that is, imm re-thinking it now anyway though so perhaps the long wait is a blessing, although my tonsils are still ful off those nasty stones and swollen but yeaaah :S
