Since 15:55 our broadband in Donnybrook from UPC is down. All phone lines occupied.

It is back again after 20 minutes.

I presume you mean 15:55 unless you're posting from the Future ;)

It's been down here from the same time too, with engaged phone lines.

    Agreed.
Nobody's connectivity issues right now are unique, there's not a lot that they can do for anybody. Just keep an eye on twbitter and boards...

Down in Dublin 24 too. Our TV is fine (UPC satellite box) but the phonelines and internet have been down for hours.

Getting sick of UPC, our connection drops all the time (and comes back after a few minutes, but usually when we're in the middle of something important!). Happens at least once a week >.<

Yup same here ... As both my husband and I work from home regularly, this has become quite a problem ¬.¬

I'm using my phone's data to tether interwebs... UPC is still for me in D1

get them to come out and fix it. had same problem last year, the guy said it was some kind of setting that is set too high so it knocks itself out. cant remember the exact terminology.

UPC internet stopped working for me around 4pm. Just noticed it was working again 10 mins ago. Phone service is still not working. Not sure whether TV service went down at all.

    Dublin 9.

Broadband is back but very slow, but the phone line keeps dropping calls. Took me five or six tries to make the call and then it dropped four times during it, so I had to keep ringing back  Is everyone else still having trouble?

Oh, I'll do that then! Usually when we ring they just tell us to switch it off and back on again  which does nothing.

Ours went about 4pm yesterday too, but the thing is the ethernet cable allows the laptop access, it's just the wireless that's gone. Resetting the router/unplugging has done nothing.
The message 'IP conflict address' has reared it's head a few times. Maybe it's because we have no password to our network in the complex and people are leeching off it?
I suspect it's the wireless router as we technically do have internet access.

    D15
