Derry play in the Brandywell! ;)

Looking forward to Friday, hopefully a repeat of our FAI Cup match there last season! :D

    Tricky game at Bray.

We really have to start winning games like this.

My head says draw. Hopefully will be able to go to it.

Sligo up to Dundalk, never an easy game take a jammy 1-0 off the ref's arse in the 90th min.

Last game before the window opens! Will be interesting to see what movement occurs.

A win would be just wonderful.

Cake, and grief counseling, will be available at the conclusion of the test

Mon Sligo. We're fecked if we go 5 points adrift at the bottom.
Might head to the Bray game. Think it could be a good one.

Must win game for us, expect a full team out. Only issues will be the wide players.

I'll be meeting the brother in town beforehand, if we get out in time for a pint I'll give you a shout.

Know its a week early, but where is the location of the Showgrounds in Sligo? I'm off next weekend, train is €30 return, so very tempted go.

It's only about 10minutes walk from train station and a decent away trip. Some great bars in Sligo

Thank you very much lads, once I actually get paid from work I think I shall go for this trip. Go back after the match. Lucky its on the Saturday for me. I'll be on my own, so if any kind soul wants to meet for a pint or two beforehand, I'd be willing to meet up.

    Working :(

Thanks to RTE for moving it to the afternoon! Enjoy the trip, most away fans seem to have a good time in our town.

Ha I've no reason to complain bout RTE this time. Never been to Sligo so will take advantage of it now.

next 5 if we beat IBV, we usually fall apart in those games.

It seems to be better off not getting into Europe these days! It costs us money rather than making it!

Got a bad feeling for us at home to Drogs.

We haven't been playing well, and 3pts will be hard to come by.

this years team wouldnt be there without last years UEFA money, blessed we were sponsored for one round. Up to the club to try get sponsorship for the rounds.

We actually have made money but spent a lot getting to china and other parts of Asia. if we do the 3 round thing again we may offer players a 2nd year before the end of the season.

tbh reckon we wont do well in Europe this year, reckon irelands coefficent will bow out early.

Looking forward to Bray tonight, hoping we can get three points and keep Jason Byrne quiet, on a sidenote have a podcast started up o the league if anyone wants a listen :)

Would take a draw now. Despite Rovers defensive frailties, I don't think Bohs have enough quality up front to expoit that unfortunately.

Looking forward to getting back to Dalymount anyway.

2 lads in work cant get tickets to the Bohs game? No clue why they wont just sit in the Des Kelly

We're restricted to 900 or 1000 tickets for the Des Kelly and they're sold out.

Say there will be a fair few rovers in the Jodi.

Yeah at the last few fixtures when rovers have sold their allocation out there'd always be 100 or so anxious looking souls in Block A of the Jodi ;)

Completely unrelated to this thread (shh DFX you didnt see nothing)

I was telling someone of a goal I seen on MNS last season or perhaps two seasons ago but couldn't recall which game it was from.

It was a goal from the half way line, I think it was from tip off and the ref disallowed it for some reason. Im also 90% sure it was in tolka park but again cant be sure.

    Anyone remember it?

Are there any streams around? Thanks

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,472 ✭✭✭✭Oat23

Why do shams keep changing their keeper? I thought the South African did well in the cup and now he is dropped.

Looking at the team we face tonight in Dundalk, I only recognise 3 names. Surely this 7k a week rumour is made up!

No games on TV tonight. There will be the next 2 weeks.

Shams fans usually have live commentary of their games but Bohs wont let them do it at Dalymount.

Dundalk 1-1 Rovers - Mon lads!

I don't need to say who scored, you all know who scores our goals

Aberdeen manager there tonight watching him.

He's some goalscorer. Reckon if we had him again this year we'd be flying it at the top.

He must have like 15 goals now already?
