can some explain to me what is the national treatment purchase fund?

    I've been reading across a few threads that it has been used by people for people on public waiting lists and that their condition worsened but couldnt do private. ir with cronic need for tonsilectomy?

    Hope this answers your question.

    As I understand it, if you are a public patient and require a surgical procedure, but the waiting list is over 6 months, then the state "pays" for your treatment under the auspices of the NTPF

    The private treatment for patients under the NTPF has actually been abolished by your minister fir health and the service is no longer available.
