I'm due to start college in Waterford in September, just wondering does anyone travel down daily from Gorey by bus/rail? who do they use and how much?
    Thanks :D

There's not really any suitable bus services assuming you want to be in for 9:00/10:00. http://www.buseireann.ie/pdf/1256223990-5.pdf

In theory you could get the 5:20am route 002 Rosslare bus to Wexford and change for route 40 service to Waterford but you'd be mad to do that everyday.

The only thing I can think of would be if you knew some one driving there every day that you could carpool with.

    That's mental Ted.

There has to be a better option than that, that's far too big a distance to consider a daily drive

The cost of commuting would equal a weeks rent & spending money in Waterford. There was a dedicated bus service to the college so your best bet is to ring Bus Eireann or JJ Kavanagh to verify this.

Open to correction but JJ Kavanagh might do a weekly service to the college, but it's definitely not daily.

It might be worthwhile contacting WIT direct and asking them , or you could post your query in the EDU-WIT forum on Boards .
