Hi I'm using a Netopia 3347NWG for my now Vodafone broadband, when more than one device is connected to the network we constantly get

Error 101 (net::ERR_CONNECTION_RESET): The connection was reset.

this is usually fixed temporarily by restarting the wireless on the device in question or turning on and off the router.

The problems still happen when connected by lan cable to the router, I've updated its firmware to 7.8.0r2

I presume this is an issued with the router itself due to it being old and a POS?

When buying a new router does it have to be a adsl modem or some other specific type?

Thanks for any help you can provide
