    I must be getting old, because the Garda on the right, pictured here on the front cover of the 2011 Policing Plan, looks like a child to me. :)

    Happens to us all, I suppose!

    I had a similar experience a while back at an airport (Amsterdam) where I saw the top half of 2 gorgeous blondes and thought to myself they were way too young for me to even be looking at.

    When they walked out from behind the counter they were at I realised they were both in uniform and armed....:eek:

    I know how you lads feel....it came to me when my son (26) was telling me he's thinking about joining the fire service....wait a minute, weren't you just in nappies last week??? New deputies look at my employee number and go..."wow....thats a low number..." nice..
