Try a fitness website or something. Make your own diet plan because everyones different, peoples features such as height, weight and lifestyles are different so you cant just copy someone elses diet plan. Calories taken in v calories out will determine your weight loss..

I'd recommend giving the paleo diet a try,I found it great though admittedly it's quite restrictive but results wise it's the best in my opinion. Even if you don't want to stick to it religiously you can just apply the main principles to a healthy eating plan ie reduce processed carbs, increase protein, fruit and veg etc

Fad diets rarely work. You need to find a diet that you can stick to permanently.
The first thing you need to do is look at what you're eating now and start adjusting that. If you take it in steps it can be easier to stick with it.
Things like chocolate, crisps, fizzy drinks, cakes, and chips are bad and need to be cut back drastically.
Unfortunately beer is very high in calories and should be cut back.
After you look after that the next thing to look at is portion sizes. Most people's idea of a portion and what a portion actually is are completely different. Most people find that reducing carb quantities (potatoes, rice, pasta) and upping veg (broccoli etc) works to lose weight and is something that can be done relatively easily.

The other thing that can be done is to not use premade jars of sauces or processed food of any kind. Just make your own.

The important thing is to examine your current diet and make the necessary changes. It doesn't have to be all at once. You'd be surprised at the difference in just making some simple changes.
Have a read of the stickies there should be plenty of info there to keep you going.

As for exercise, find something that you like. You're more likely to stick wth it. As you get fitter you can get more adventurous.

agree with brownej. if you have a smartphone download myfitnesspal, use it to track what you eat normally for a couple of days, see what you average on calorie intake, this gives you an idea of your starting point, next use the stickies or mfp itself to figure out how much you need to be eating to hit your target weight, and keep using mfp to track your daily intake so you stick close to your goal. be honest on your portion sizes, if you eat 2 portions don't put it in as one.

start cooking more from raw ingredients rather than prepackaged, make your own sauces, although some of the jars of stuff are not bad for calories but are bad on other things.

and the best part of mfp is the calories you gain back for exercising, really push you to get your cardio in..allows you to have that bit extra on the days you work out.

Consume small meals every Two to three hours,
Consume a lean protein supplier with every meal like chicken, eggs.
    Take in fresh fruits, veggies.
Ensure that at least twenty five percent of your calories originate from fat sources, such as animal fats and oils.
Take in only beverages which have zero calories. Stay with just water as well as green tea if it is possible.
    Try to eat only whole-foods.

move more, eat less. NO JUNK FOOD!

its easy to forumlate a plan. Making it actually happen is when youll need tweaks etc.

kettlebells are unreal. Just make sure you push yourself and dont use too light a weight
