If she is dieting maybe she has cut out a food that is a trigger for her.

Never heard of those pills before, but as a long term psoriasis sufferer I've tried a lot of things. Two things spring to mind - has she been drinking extra water while trying to lose weight? It sounds really basic I know, but increased water intake can really help psoriasis symptoms. Cutting out alcohol also helps greatly.

Alternatively, psoriasis is sometimes linked to liver function, and something in the pills may have a liver cleansing effect - she may find that other (non-slimming specific) liver tonics such as Milk Thistle or Dandelion Tea could have a similar effect. Or as Moonbaby says she may have cut out a trigger food for her.

She should ask her doctor or pharmacist, particularly if she is considering using slimming pills, or any other over-the-counter supplement for any length of time. These pills are largely unregulated, and from a quick google, there seem to be a lot of fake products around, so there could be anything in what she has been taking.

Just a heads up, my sister used to take those tablets and it turned out that they contained an (illegal!) excessive amount of sibutramine.
