WWE No Way Out PPV Opener:

The PPV opens with a video package highlighting the recent past of John Laurinaitis, Big Show, John Cena and Vince McMahon, as well as the possible firings that will happen tonight.

From there, we go live into the IZOD Arena where Michael Cole introduces us to tonight's show and further previews some of tonight's top matches.

World Title: Sheamus vs. Dolph Ziggler

From there we head right to live championship action as the World Heavyweight Title match will begin tonight's show. Once the match began, Ziggler kissed Vickie Guerrero on the apron. And in a move avoiding a WrestleMania sort of recall, Ziggler nearly turned around into an immediate Brogue Kick after the kiss, but managed to avoid it. The first serious nearfall after that came when Sheamus hit a big DDT for a two-count. Later on, Ziggler locks in a chin lock on Sheamus, while simaltaneously doing a hand stand. A cool spot happened where Ziggler was on Sheamus' shoulders and came off them landing into a DDT on Sheamus for a nearfall. Ziggler hits the Fameasser a while later for a nearfall that the crowd bought into. Ziggler had a few other close nearfalls until Sheamus finally hit the Irish Curse, the White Noise, and finally the Brogue Kick to score the pin and retain his title.

    Winner: Sheamus

Backstage: Vince McMahon & John Laurinaitis

Backstage, Vince McMahon is shown walking. John Laurinaitis catches up to him and said he knows Vince has a concussion and that it would maybe be best if he didn't go to ringside tonight. He also said he hopes their business relationship will grow after Big Show is victorious. Laurinaitis tries following Vince into his dressing room, but Vince stops him and closes the door in his face.

Non-Title Tuxedo Match: Santino Marella vs. Ricardo Rodriguez

Up next is the U.S. Champion Santino Marella against Ricardo Rodriguez in a non-title tuxedo match. Santino is in a powder blue tuxedo. Rodriguez is in the same one he always wears. Rodriguez tears the pocket off Santino's jacket early on. A loud "boring" chant breaks out early on. That didn't take long. Santino strips Rodriguez's tuxedo off of him, revealing his Alberto Del Rio underwear. Santino wins.

    Winner: Santino Marella

    Backstage: CM Punk & A.J.

Backstage, CM Punk is shown wearing his "I Dig Crazy Chicks" t-shirt. Matt Striker asks Punk what his relationship is with A.J. Punk said "what relationship?" Punk said A.J. is crazy but tonight's match is about the WWE Championship. A.J. ends up showing up and wishing Punk luck with a big kiss on the cheek. "Luck is for losers" says Punk.

Intercontinental Title: Cody Rhodes vs. Christian

The Intercontinental Championship match is next up. Both guys battle back and forth a bit for the first few minutes of the match, with each guy having a little window of offense. Christian hit a big DDT off the ring steps to Rhodes a few minutes into the contest. Back in the ring, Rhodes trips Christian and sits on the ropes playing to the crowd. While he was still there, Christian hit him with a huracanrana off the second rope for a close nearfall. Christian goes for the spear a bit later, but Rhodes manages to escape to the floor unscathed. Christian goes for a frogsplash a minute after, but Rhodes gets his knees up to block it. A few seconds later, however, Christian manages to hit the spear this time and pick up the pin.

Winner and STILL Intercontinental Champion: Christian

WWE Tag-Team Titles #1 Contender's Match: Primo & Epico vs. Prime Time Players vs. The Uso Brothers vs. Justin Gabriel & Tyson Kidd

The bell sounds and one of the Uso's and Titus start. They wrestle a bit before a bunch of quick tags happen that let everyone get a little ring time in during the match. Later on, Young makes a blind tag, but falls to the outside. Kidd puts Primo on the top rope and hits a crazy hurricanrana, sending Primo crashing into everyone on the floor on the outside. AW rolls Young and Primo back into the ring. Young hits a gutbuster and pins Primo for the three while Epico is held back by AW.

    Winners: Prime Time Players

In-Ring Segment: Triple H Addresses Brock Lesnar

HHH comes to the ring. His in-ring segment to address Brock Lesnar is up next. HHH is not wearing the arm brace anymore. HHH grabs a mic. He says he's spent over half of his life in the ring. He did it because for the most part it's the only thing he ever wanted to do. Also because he never wanted to get a real job. Ironically, here he is all these years later with a real job. A corporate job on top of it. In that job for the last five weeks since Paul Heymen brought two lawsuits against the company, he's had to deal with a lot of crap because he's not a corporate kind of guy. He says he's an a**kicker, it's what he does. So he came up with an idea. Paul Heymen said Brock wants to fight. And Brock says he's not an entertainer, and he's not a lawyer, but he's a fighter, and he's an a**kicker. Hunter says the last time he saw Lesner in the ring, he jumped him from behind and broke him arm, but his arm is feeling a lot better, and in a couple more weeks, it'll be 100%, and then he'll be back in fighting shape. HHH says that'll bring them to right in the middle of Summer. He's proposing they get rid of the lawyers, lawsuits, and legal junk. They get rid of the fat, balding manager. This is about Hunter and Brock doing what they do. They're fighters, and Hunter wants to fight him - bad. HHH officially challenges Lesnar to a match at SummerSlam.

    Backstage: Daniel Bryan & A.J.

Backstage, Daniel Bryan is with A.J. Bryan tells her that now is not the time. A.J. asks him to listen. She said after all they've been through, there's a part of her that isn't over him yet. She claims she doesn't expect anything from him but just wanted to wish him luck. She gives him a kiss on the cheek.

WWE Divas Title: Layla vs. Beth Phoenix

They trade positions a couple of times before Beth goes into the ropes to force a break. Beth comes up with a huge kick, before chopping Layla hard in the chest. Beth says Layla couldn't lace her boots, and that's why she'll take the championship tonight. Layla catches Beth with a boot, but she ends up caught on Beth's shoulder. She fights out, then hits a low dropkick to Beth's knee. Layla grabs Beth's tiara and puts it on, taunting Beth. Beth looks furious. Layla runs around the ring and teases throwing it. She heads back into the ring and hits Beth with a facebuster. Later on, Beth tries for the glam slam, but Layla counters into a roll up for two. Layla goes for another roll up for two before blasting Beth with a kick to the side of the face and launching herself out of the corner. Beth comes right back, planting Layla on the mat with a huge powerslam. Beth pulls Layla up and shoulders her, pressing her above her head. Layla counters with a DDT, but a pin only gets her two. Beth bullies Layla into the corner and hits her. Out of nowhere, Layla hits a neckbreaker on Beth for the clean pinfall.

Winner and STILL Divas Champion: Layla

    Backstage: Kane & A.J.

Backstage, A.J. is shown walking up to Kane. A.J. talks about how she can't explain something-or-other and then babbles some more. She says she just came by to wish Kane good luck tonight. She gives Kane a kiss on the cheek as well, only this time - Kane grabs her and pulls her back to make out. A.J. seems to dig it.

    Hunico vs. Sin Cara

Both guys come out. The lights dim, and this one is underway. Hunico attacks Sin Cara early on. Hunico goes to work on the arm, but Cara gets out with an arm drag. Hunico heads to the outside and catches Cara with a high knee. Hunico brings himself back into the ring with a slingshot senton. Hunico takes Cara into the corner and slams him in repeatedly. Hunico blasts Cara with kicks to the chest. Cara is able to connect with a headscissors to take Hunico off of his feet. Cara avoids a splash and blasts Hunico with an enzugiri. Cara hits a springboard hurricanrana, a couple of dropkicks, a series of kicks, but then he runs into boots from Hunico. Sin Cara reverses quickly thereafter, however, and hits a big headscissors takedown, spinning Hunico around and driving his head down hard. Sin Cara picks up the pinfall victory.

    Winner: Sin Cara

WWE Title: CM Punk vs. Daniel Bryan vs. Kane

The bell rings and Kane attacks Punk. Bryan attacks Kane, but he's thrown off. Bryan comes back and lays into Kane with kicks. Kane grabs Bryan by the throat, then grabs Punk. Punk and Bryan fight Kane off, then trade turns kicking the giant in the chest and back before hitting a double dropkick. Both men go for the cover, but they're pulled off by one another. Bryan blasts Punk with a chop, Punk responds. They trade forearms and Punk gets the upper hand. Moments later, Punk and Bryan square off, and Bryan is able to take Punk to the mat, hitting him with knees to the face before picking him up and whipping him over with a big suplex. Bryan heads to the top rope, but he's stopped by Punk. Punk lays in with big forearms before going up after Bryan. Kane pulls Punk off and goes up after Bryan, slapping him hard. Punk pulls Kane off, then Kane pulls Punk off. Kane tries for a superplex, but then Punk pulls him down and the two fight between themselves. Bryan hits a double shotgun missile dropkick, taking out both men. Punk rolls up Bryan for two. Bryan comes right back with a big kick to the side of the head and locks in the yes lock. Punk reverses with a roll up. Punk hits the GTS. Kane pulls Bryan to the floor. Kane heads up to the top rope and launches off with a clothesline to take out Punk. Kane grabs Punk around the throat, but Punk counters with a DDT. Kane kicks out of a pin attempt. Punk heads up to the top and hits a flying elbow drop to Kane, but the big red monster kicks out at two. Punk tries to shoulder Kane, but can't. Punk runs right into a big boot, then eats a choke slam. Kane pins Punk, but Punk kicks out at two. Kane freaks out, chasing the ref around and screaming that it was two. Kane goes for the tombstone. Punk fights out. AJ is on the apron out of nowhere and Punk shoves Kane into her, knocking her to the floor. Kane then walks right into a GTS from Punk for the loss. Punk wins and retains.

Winner and STILL WWE Champion: CM Punk

    After The Match:

After the finish, Kane checks on the condition of A.J. on the outside. He picks her up and carries her to the back. While carrying her, we see A.J. looking fine, as she stares over Kane's shoulder and smiles at Punk in the ring.

Ryback vs. Dan Delaney & Rob Grymes

Next up is Ryback taking on two nobodies. The two jobbers cut a little promo and start some god-awful song before Ryback comes out. Ryback squashes the hell out of both guys for all of a minute or two, all-the-while the crowd chants "Goldberg" at him, before knocking himself out after a Samoan drop move that left him disfigured and crying.

Winner: Dan Delaney & Rob Grymes

Steel Cage Match: John Cena vs. Big Show

First out is Laurinaitis, who comes out with his single crutch in a god-awful red suit. Out next is Big Show. Next out after that is Vince McMahon. McMahon blows off a handshake attempt from Laurinaitis before sitting down at the announcers table to do commentary. Both he and Johnny are on commentary for this one. John Cena finally comes out last. The cage is locked behind him and our main event is underway. Cena ducks a charging Show, but ends up grabbed by the throat. Cena fights off a chokeslam, but Show takes him right down to the mat. Show picks up Cena and throws him into the cage wall. Cena struggles to get to his feet, and Show throws him into the cage wall again. Show walks over top of Cena, putting all of his weight on Cena's midsection. Show picks Cena up and Cena fights back, but Show hits Cena with a big clothesline that lays Cena on the mat. Cena struggles to get up and Show helps him, throwing him hard into the cage wall. Show takes another step across Cena's chest, then smiles down at Ace and Mr. McMahon. Show blasts Cena with a right hand to the ribs. Show yells at Cena that the fans don't care so he should quit. Show hits Cena with a huge running back splash in the corner. Show drags Cena over to the corner. He begins the slow climb to the second rope. Show hits a giant Vader bomb out of the corner, but still only gets a two count. Show stares down at Cena before picking him up. He takes Cena into the corner and Show climbs up to the top. Show pulls Cena up to the top with him by the throat. Cena tries to fight back, but Show sends him to the mat. Show, standing on the top, looks down at Cena. Show walks across the top rope, and tries for an elbow drop, but Cena moves and Show crashes and burns on the mat. Cena covers Show, but Show kicks out at two. Cena struggles to the door, but Laurinaitis closes the door and locks it. Vince opens the door, but Johnny pushes McMahon and sends him into the door, sending the door crashing into Cena's head. Cena's chokeslammed by Show and pinned, but he wont stay down. Show goes for the WMD, but he KO's the ref. Cena tries for the AA, but Show fights out and hits Cena with a KO punch. Show looks around, then heads for the door. Brodus Clay comes down with a chair in hand and he opens the door for Show, telling him to come right out. Show goes to climb over the top, but Brodus waits for him wherever he goes. Clay motions to the back. Santino and Alex Riley run to the ring and climb up the cage wall, but Show runs into the wall and knocks him back. Zack Ryder comes down and Show blasts him with a punch through the cage wall. Kofi Kingston heads down, and Show catches him at the top of the cage. Kofi catches Show with repeated boots that send him crashing down to the mat. Cena makes his way to the cage door by using the ropes. Show drags himself towards Cena. Show pulls Cena into the center of the ring. Cena manages to hit him with the Attitude Adjustment. Cena covers Show but there's no ref to make the count. Cena tries climbing the cage. Cena gets to the top but Laurinaitis uses his crutch to hold Cena back. Brodus catches Laurinaitis. Show crawls out the door but Cena hits the floor before Show does. Cena wins.

    Winner: John Cena

    After The Match:

Cena sees Laurinaitis still being held by Clay. Clay lets him go and he swings at Cena with his crutch. Cena avoids it. Vince gets on the mic and tells Laurinaitis he's fired. Cena hits the AA on Laurinaitis through the announce table. Cena celebrates to close the show.

    Gave it 7.

Some good matches, and plenty of stories furthered. Nothing hugely special, but hardly as offensive as some shows have been recently :P

No it wasnt. It was average personally I gave it a 5.

People need to commend WWE for the PPVs they have put on the past 2 years if this is the new awful.

Stuck between a 4/5. It wasn't a bad PPV match wise (apart from the awful tuxedo match) but tbh, it was very boring. There was plenty of stuff that got onto the PPV (HHH challenging Lesnar, Sin Cara/Hunico) that could've easily been put on Raw.

there were 4 good matches on that card (opener, rhodes/christian, 4 way tag and bryan/punk/kane), you gave last years summerslam a 1/10 too, hard man to please :p

It was a filler PPV so I watched with few expectations. it was predictable but we had some good matches and their wasn't really anything that painful for me, even Kane didn't annoy me last night.

    Gave it a six.

I think the overall sense that i have this morning about last night is why did I stay up to watch all of it.

Really enjoyed the opener except could someone please give dolph the belt.

Rhodes Christian was very good aswell but again the wrong result in my eyes.

Triple threat was ok. Some of the paralysis outside the ring was a joke though. Next one has to be just punk and bryan. Get Kane out of there.

The main event for me was pathetic. Mainly because i hate cena but some other bits were useless. Also that they can just walk out the front door of that goddamn demonic structure. But why the flip are brodus, kofi and the others getting anywhere near a ppv main event? I thought we were going to see some good spots there like kofi being chokeslammed off the top. However the ending (and the match in general) were incredibly boring to me.

Overall ill give it a 6/10. However if Sheamus Ziggler was the main event and Dolph won it thatd go to 7.5/8

they were there supposedly because they were all beaten up by big show this past few weeks on raw and sd, it played into the storyline and it kept big show looking kind of strong still

I groaned, thinking it was going to be a repeat of WM. would have been better if Dolph suckered Sheamus in and knew he'd go for the Brouge Kick.

So, where now for Cena and both champions, with MITB in 4 weeks and SummerSlam 5 weeks later?

I'm fed up with Cena main-eventing every PPV while the WWE championship match is an undercard attraction. It looks like Punk/Kane/Bryan may have another few weeks in it yet.. but could Punk/Cena be on the cards for SS?

I'm not sure where they'll go with Sheamus. Maybe Orton returns as a heel and that is the SummerSlam world title match? Possibly ADR or Cody as an opponent at MITB?

Thought it was a decent effort overall.Could've done without the Sin Cara stupid lighting match and the Ryback squash though.

Really enjoyed Sheamo vs Ziggler,Christian vs Cody and the Punk/Bryan/Kane matches, though was hoping for a Danielson win and a AJ heel turn.

Beth/Layla was a good womens effort and Ricardo vs Santino was passable.

Cage match was just about what I was expecting, plus at least it removes Big Johnny from his GM role,he's been horribly over exposed over the past few months.

    6/10

Ah was okay. Not one title change. And to show how big a deal the tag division is, I couldn't remember who the champs were until Cole said. Though I really think Tyson Kidd needs the spotlight on him more. Maybe for this rumoured cruiserweight show?

Had to laugh at the comment about Sheamus growing up in the tough North George's. And I think Cole is taking commentary lessons from Tazz. He started a whole thing about Newark air control when Kane was climbing to do his clothesline from the top. Just reminded me of Tazz letting the pigeons loose.

Speaking of Kane, he's probably one of the few guys you would expect to see in a match with guys like Bryan and Punk.

Gave it a six. Triple threat was a good match, despite Punk retaining yet again. *sigh*

Took a píss break for the tuxedo match, but it was apparantly as awful as I expected.

Show vs Cena took forever to get going.

*Show hit's cena with a headbutt*
*Stands around shouting at the crowd for 5 minutes.*
    *repeat a dozen times*

Sheamo vs Ziggler was decent, wanted Ziggler to win it though. Sheamus is running out of people to defend the title from.

And I always love me some Ryback.

So basically t'was the definition of 'meh'.

don't think it helps having every title on a babyface, and when you then have them all defend sucessfully, the heels start to lose credibility.

You make it sound like a sport :p. Apparently others are unwilling to work with him at the moment as he's meant to be a little unsafe to work with and they can't afford to risk anymore injuries.

others may well be unwilling to work with him for the reasons you say but at the end of the day its their job so to speak.just like any other company,if the employees are not willing to do the work or abide by company rules and polocies then managment get rid of them [eg brock lesner] and on the question of me making it sound like a sport...it IS a sport, the very name of the company says so...world wrestling ENTERTAINMENT,yes its a combat sport and a percentage of injuries are to be expected but at the end of the day it is still a sport:D

I read about others not wanting to work with him, to which I read a comment about how they have the local guys working with in in what is probably a more dangerous capacity since they get thrown around more and being used as weapons against each other, yet how often have we heard they've been injured?

i can understand not wanting to risk injuries but if wwe managment are that concerned about it then why are they putting 2 wannabe wrestlers [no disrespect to them] in the ring with him at the same time when they clearly can not stand up to him where as there are several wwe superstars that can clearly stand up to him and give him as good as he gives them, dont mean to sound like im having a go but its just an observation :):D

6 - Not bad, but could have been a lot better
    GAve it a 5.
Sheamus/ziggler was class. As was Rhodes/Christian. Wwe title match was only ok. Everything else was just the same thing you see week in week out on tv.

Did get a clean sweep in the predictions tho :P

Where I watched it today: http://www.vipbox.tv/watch/57150/1/wwe-no-way-out---full-replay-live-stream-online.html

    6/10

does not work for some reason. well give it ago again tomorrow

Same as that man. I actually wasn't able to keep my eyes open after the triple threat match. I wonder if that had been the main event would I have managed to stay awake? Probably!

Any chance Sky might show this on one of their sports channels in the nextfew days? They showed the last ppv a day or day later on their regular sports channels.

I use http://telly-tv.com/ for all wwe shows(raw,sd,ppv etc). I usually check day after the event and links are available.

That's because the last ppv aired live on Sky Sports so they repeated it. No Way Out was a sky box office production and its repeated ONLY on Sky Box Office, they're not going to show it for free on the normal Sports channel otherwise it would be a complete slap in the face for anyone who did pay for it.

Aah. That makes more sense. Didn't realise the last ppv didn't air on box office.

Yea under their contract with WWE they can show 4 PPVs a year for free on Sky Sports, naturally enough they keep any of the bigger ppvs for Sky Box Office.

Is it Sky or WWE who determine which events are Box Office? And are the profits from each buy split 50/50?

Sky determine which ones are shown on SBO, obviously its a no brainer to have WrestleMania, Summerslam, Royal Rumble and Survivor Series on SBO as they're the "BIG 4".

AFAIK, (And I could be way off) but I think Sky keep all of the proceeds from the SBO events as they have already paid the WWE for them in the Multi Year TV rights deal they signed.
