Fresh Yeast!

Hi - Does anyone know any shops preferably on the Dunmore Road side of town that sells fresh yeast? Tesco doesn't, and I don't think Arkeen does. Also., seen as I'm asking, trying to find a good shop for breadpans, cooking thermometers etc. Thanks!

Fresh yeast - any Polish shop should do.

That was quick - thanks a million! Should have thought of them as I've been in before for smoked paprika and stuff like that - will try on the way home

Try TK Maxx for cooking stuff.

Try TK Maxx for cooking stuff.

Actually went to the Polish place and he didn't speak English so didn't get anything. Then asked at the deli counter in Ardkeen stores and got it no problem!

Well i can tell you its deffo in the polish shop and there is a guy there that speaks english he must not have been there, They are in litte yellow paper packs

I'll have another look today as I'm trying to source rye flour! Why isn't it easy to find anything! Thanks again

You are then looking for: Mąka żytnia razowa - (Flour rye wholemeal)
żytnia (read: zheetnya) is the key word there.

Thanks - that's the same translation I had! I did a bit of hunting as the Polish shop was shut first thing, and it turns out that Full of Beans in Georges Court sells all of the flour and organic too!
