I see on a lot of bodybuilding forums people talking about how great Greek yoghurt is but the only ones I can find in shops are very heavy in fat. Are the ones mentioned on websites a fat-free variety? Cos can't find any in the shops..

A lot of greek yogurt is around 10% fat, which is not a bad thing. It's very filling, without having that addictive "I've got to finish the tub" feeling.

You can buy a non-fat greek yogurt made by Total, but I find it very disappointing.

A nicer version is the Tesco Virtually Fat free Fromage Fraise.

+ 1 on the Lidl Greek yogurt - absolutely adore this. Have it for breakfast quite often with some fruit & flaxseed or wheatgerm sprinkled over it. Yum and very filling. A little goes a long way. Can't believe its so cheap too.

Are them yogurts not full of sugar? Or did I pick up the wrong tub?

Actually, a plain Greek yoghurt usually has less sugar than regular natural yoghurt. If it's a flavoured Greek yoghurt then, yes, there obviously would be additives, but if it's plain then, no, it's just milk/cream and the bacterial cultures.

Cheers I'll have a look out for the plain one. I picked up a strawberry yogurt, which would explain the sugar so I had assumed I was looking at the wrong Greek yogurt.

I usually eat that Lidl greek yoghurt with Lidl granola and a small bit of jam to sweeten it in the mornings...any idea if that granola is any good? I thought it'd be better than eating toast/cereal, but I don't really know?

Granola can be full of sugar - and adding jam ( if its not sugar free ) is just more.
Maybe try Greek Yoghurt, Oat Bran and a spoon of peanut butter. delicious.
