Yesterday 13 June 2012, I attended “Picnic in the park 2012” Again what a turn out for such an awful day of drizzle and rain. I think we have accepted the fact if we wait for dry days to drive our cars sure we will never get out!! Well done to the IVVCC and the RIAC for this event. Certainly something for everyone from 1900’s right up to 1990..

I was to be there also, but cos of work couldn't make it. Thank you very much for the loads of photos. Looks like a very good turnout considering!

Well done Okistag, fabilous photos, keep up the good work. I still think it is a pity that pre 1980 cars that are imported, do not have the year Reg, rather than the ZV plate.

I know I must get it painted sometime that primer is starting to run thin

I am guessing you mean "Z" which is a Dublin reg. Year would depend on the letter being before the digits or after. "1 Z" or "Z 1" is correct..

Well one has the choice of year or ZV on pre 1980. Ones personal choice really.
Depends on the car in my opinion which looks better.

Lovely to see the vintage cream wood paneled ford again. Is it Model T? I saw that car in the Naul one evening a few years back when I was up there for a gig. Beautiful machine.
